Gorgeous porcelain vase. Decorated with a hand painted landscape scene with a small house, green and pink trees. The scene is framed in gold moriage beading, and raised gold floral scrollwork designs and pink jewels, gold moriage beading and pink roses. Unmarked, but probably made during the Nippon era of Japanese porcelain, circa 1891 to 1921.
Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks.

The set has an unusual house in the woods painting that I haven't seen before. One of these two saucers has a tiny fleck of the gold rim missing as well, but this is not a chip. Overall it is a beautiful set in great shape as you can see in the photos.
