Christian Dior Casablanca Round Covered Vegetable Dish 24k Gold - Discontinued. Near mint condition. There are no chips or cracks. No damage. There is some very light discoloration on the handles, and a very small scratch on the rim of the lid. All flaws have been photographed. This is a very special piece by Christian Dior that has since been discontinued. The exotic Casablanca pattern boasts 24k gold accents on the handles, lid rim, top knob and throughout the design. The design is composed of exotic cheetahs and beautiful palm trees with black and red geometric accents. Total weight of the dish with the lid is 3 lbs 3 oz. The lid measures about 7.5 inches in diameter. While the vegetable bowl measures about 10.5 inches wide (this includes the handles). With the lid and bowl, total height is about 6 inches. The owner traveled the world and brought home artwork and glassware along his travels. Lid on chocolate pot was cracked, repaired and painted.
